When the world’s 3rd largest global defense company tapped us to design their regional Mobility & Protection Systems corporate office, we set out to create the kind of first-class impression required in this competitive industry. We wanted the space to reflect the level of professionalism and success BAE has come to expect.
First impressions are critical to this success, especially when courting multi-billion dollar contracts. The reception area features a clean, modern design with an adjoining product gallery gateway to a state-of-the-art conferencing facility. The reception desk stands as the centerpiece, giving the space a balance and natural flow.
The “showroom” reception area serves as a front end to a suite of offices that follow the same hi-tech design. To accommodate the company’s management style, we made extensive use of glass partitions, sidelights, and bullpens to maximize natural light and openness without compromising privacy in key areas.
